It's been a little over 4 months since my hunting partner Jim Holmes and I made the trip from California to Abilene to pick out our two puppies from the 1/25/2012 litter out of Phantom's Wild Chick by CH Phantom's Wizard.

As Jim and I are both retired, we've had the opportunity to focus a good deal of time and effort on training the dogs. This is the fifth hunting dog that I've trained for myself, and I think that Jim's is his fourth or fifth. Neither of us are pro's, and we each have our own style, but the results with these two Phantom Kennel's dogs are nothing short of amazing!

At just 6-months old, both of the dogs are good enough to make anybody proud of them. They have all of the basic commands down solid. Great athletic dogs with endurance that seems endless. Great drive, great noses and both point and retrieve birds like it's second nature to them. I can't tell you how happy we are. Today we have 6 month old dogs that are truly ready for their first quail season! Thanks Dan, and tell Wiz to keep up the good work
