I have had a passion for bird dogs for about the last 10 years and have bought several pointers during that time.  I had them trained with several different trainers and experienced mixed results, most of them were not very good because of the lack of communications between the trainer and me.  I was recently talked into buying a shorthair by a trainer who got out of the training business.  At the time, I had no trainer, but was fortunate to find Dan.  I was concerned about how “Hunter” would turn out, but was very eased after talking with Dan.  I found the best person to train him and after 3 months of training, I saw the best bird dog that I now own.  I have since bought a pup from Dan and cannot wait for him to start training.  I also want to have Dan work my older dogs when spots become available.
  I would recommend Dan for training any breed of bird dog.  With his methods and knowledge of reading each dog’s potential, he will bet the best out of that dog.
