Package

- Three days of fully guided quail hunting in West Texas
- Pickup and drop off from and to the airport in
Abilene, TX
- Lodging and meals, including two nights at our Bed and
Breakfast facility
- Bird Dogs - Hunt over our World Class English Pointers
- Horses - Use of our fine set of trained Tennessee
Walking Horses
- Shotguns - We can provide them as well as ammunition
for a nominal fee

Typical
Hunt:
- Spend the night at our Bed and
Breakfast before the hunt
- Leave early the next morning and hunt three full days at
the ranch in West Texas
- Return to our Bed and Breakfast to relax after your
hunt
- Depart the next morning
- This can be modified to fit your needs depending on our
other booked hunts

What you need to
bring:
- Riding Skills - You should have some experience riding
before you come. You should be able to mount and dismount a
horse without assistance
- Valid
Texas Hunting License
- Airline Reservations (Abilene, TX airport code
ABI)
- American
Airlines
- Continental
Airlines
- Hunting/Riding Clothes
- Comfortable Riding/Walking Boots
- Nylon brush buster type pants or chaps
- Gloves - Thinsulate or thin leather recommended
- Be prepared for cold or warm weather (we generally have
milder weather, but you never know)
- Shotgun - We recommend a short-barreled gun (26 inch
barrels or less) to carry on the horses. We will be riding
through cholla cactus and mesquites, so bring one that
doesn't need to be pampered. We can provide some O/U
shotguns for a nominal fee.
- Ammunition - We recommend #6 shot - these are tough,
wild birds!
